At the weekend I introduced Cubling to one of my favourite Scottish August/September activities.
Brambling.
Unfortunately, my father-in-law had been there first and our yield was, hm, well, pathetic.
It's the thought that counts.
You can find 10 things to do with brambles and recipies at Thames Valley Mums Blog.
Happy brambling!
And this fortnight's British Mummy Bloggers Carnival is on over at Clareybabbling.

Brombeeren? Is that the same as a blackberry?
I would love to join the bilingual blogger crowd. But so far all little L 'says' are 'rararas' and 'yeeeeeeeheeeeeeees'. Now, is this English or German or Denglisch? Or even Swedish? Anyway, please put us on the waiting list.
Yep, that's it - Brombeeren, blackberries, Scottish term is brambles. Cubling says either brambles or Brombeeren - blackberries not in her vocab yet ;)
Letizia at bilingual for fun will be setting up a mailing list for anyone interested in raising bilingual (trilingual?) children, she's set up a static page (link under the carnival post) and an email list feature will be there soon.
