On young love and marriage

"Mummy, when Snowflake is a wee bit older, I want to marry her. Can I marry her?"
"You can't marry your sister unfortunately."
"But I can pretend to be a man!"

Cubling to a dad at the outdoors playgroup she had met for the first time:

"Are you married?"
"No, I'm not"
"But you need to get married!"
"I don't think so, I don't believe in marriage."
"But you need to dance! It's fun and you can wear a beautiful dress!"

Aw how sweet!

Bigger has realised my brother is getting married and is beyond excited at the idea - not sure when I break it to her that she'll be asleep by the time we do dancing

How lovely, and she is very correct you do get to dance and have fun and wear a lovely dress.

@ Muddling Along, oh what a shame she can't be at the dancing. Cubling is so obsessed with weddings because of the last one we went to, and the first where we let her stay up until she dropped (at 11pm). She loved loved loved it all.

@VBC oh yes, and she loves all of that! Plus the cake of course. She's such a girl ;)
